The link works for me this morning The forum thread is about the Northwest Airlines pilots that flew past the airport for 150 miles before realizing it. A sample of the posts:
| Quote: | There is no "good" side to this. Either they fell asleep (bad) or weren't paying attention (equally bad). They landed at about 9:00pm local, so it wasn't that late. Sadly, I think the unemployment numbers just went up by two.
Anybody know if they commuted in that morning? If so, the "pre-flight crewrest" giant has just been awakened.
Did they scramble fighters? |
You're not really missing much if you can't link to it. _________________ Andrew M. Frider

Ive missed my exit on the freeway a time or two. or more, by a bunch, I'd Be all "solving the worlds problems"( or maybe just mine, or working on some idea) in the head, eyeballs seeing the world whizzing by & driving just fine, just not really paying attention. But then, I wasnt chauffeuring anyone either. FIred? Hell, the $$$ they spent on fuel was enough to get them canned. Never mind the lack of professionalism.
